Hurricane Ian has brought devastation and destruction across Southwest Florida and our entire service area. Our communities need the Y more than ever before and YMCA of Southwest Florida is committed to serving those who need us most.
Our Y has been working tirelessly to ensure people are safe and have access to food and basic necessities. Through feeding programs, disaster relief and YMCA services, our Y will continue to be the Community Hub to those in need and our communities. But we cannot do it alone.
Together, we can help those most affected by the storm to reclaim stability by providing them with safe places to rest and regroup. From showers to electronic device recharging, food and water to connection to community resources, the Y will be there for the kids, families and seniors affected by the storm.
While we understand that not everyone is in the position to make a contribution during this challenging time, we want you to know if you or someone you know has been affected by Ian, our doors are open. Please remember that the Y is here for all and our communities.
If you can help by making a gift, the individuals and families of Southwest Florida thank you. Your donation will open doors for adults and children needing respite as they clean up their homes and provide a safe place for kids to be while schools are closed. The Y will continue to help distribute food and be a resource to Southwest Florida. Your gift will also allow YMCA of Southwest Florida to serve as a disaster recovery site in areas impacted the greatest.
There are three ways to make your gift today.
1. On our website at www.ymcaswfl.org.
2. Send a check to:
